My Financials Club – Free Debt Payoff Calculator
Crush your debt faster with this easy-to-use debt payoff calculator from My Financials Club. Designed for anyone juggling multiple debts, this tool shows you exactly how long it will take to pay off what you owe — and helps you pick the strategy that fits your lifestyle and motivation.
You start by entering your monthly budget for debt payments (for example, $600) and then add each of your debts individually. For each debt, you simply enter:
- Name – e.g., “Credit Card A” or “Student Loan”
- Balance – how much you owe in total
- APR (%) – the annual percentage rate on that debt
- Minimum payment – the lowest amount required each month
Once you’ve added your debts, you choose a payoff method. Currently, the calculator supports the Debt Snowball method, which prioritizes paying off the smallest balance first. This method is especially motivating, because you’ll start eliminating debts quickly and build momentum as you go. (Future versions of the tool can easily expand to include methods like Avalanche or custom strategies.)
With one click on Calculate, the tool processes your debts, APRs, and budget to give you a clear timeline for becoming debt-free. It accounts for compounding interest (APR is calculated monthly) and applies your payments in order after interest is added, giving you a realistic and transparent picture of your payoff journey.
For added flexibility, you can also export your data to CSV for further tracking or sharing. And just like the budgeting tool, all information is stored locally in your browser, so your privacy is protected.
Whether you’re tired of credit card balances, student loans, or other high-interest debt, this free calculator gives you the clarity and motivation to stick with your plan. By seeing exactly how long it will take — and how much interest you’ll save — you can turn the stressful weight of debt into a clear, step-by-step path toward financial freedom.
