My Financials Club (“we”, “us”, “our”) participates in affiliate marketing programs. This page explains what that means, how it affects you, and how we maintain our editorial integrity.

What Is an Affiliate Link?

Some links on this site are affiliate links. This means that if you click a link and then sign up for a product, open an account, or make a purchase, we may receive a commission or referral fee from the company. This comes at no extra cost to you — you pay exactly the same price whether you use our link or go directly to the company’s website.

Our Affiliate Partnerships

We work with affiliate partners primarily through Impact.com, a major affiliate marketing network. Our current and potential affiliate relationships include financial products and services such as:

  • Investing apps and brokerage accounts (e.g., Robinhood, Acorns, Betterment, M1 Finance, Webull, SoFi)
  • Budgeting and personal finance apps (e.g., YNAB, Monarch Money, Mint alternatives)
  • High-yield savings accounts and banking products
  • Credit cards and credit-building products
  • Financial education resources and courses

This list is not exhaustive. Any post that contains affiliate links will include a disclosure notice at or near the top of the article.

FTC Compliance

In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines (16 CFR Part 255), we are required to disclose any material connection between us and the companies we recommend. Affiliate relationships constitute such a connection, and we take this disclosure obligation seriously.

You will typically see a disclosure at the top of any post containing affiliate links, such as: “This post contains affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you sign up through our links, at no cost to you.”

Our Editorial Independence

Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial opinions or recommendations. We only recommend products and services that we believe offer genuine value to people learning about personal finance. If a product is not right for beginners or has significant drawbacks, we say so — regardless of whether we have an affiliate relationship with that company.

We never accept payment to write positive reviews. Our rankings and comparisons are based on our own research, publicly available information, and what we believe serves our readers best.

How Affiliate Income Supports This Site

Running a personal finance blog involves real costs: hosting, tools, research time, and content creation. Affiliate commissions help us cover these costs and keep all of our content free to access. We appreciate your support when you use our links — it genuinely helps us keep writing guides to help people build better financial habits.

No Obligation

You are never obligated to use our affiliate links. If you prefer to go directly to a company’s website, that’s completely fine. We want you to make the best decision for your own financial situation, and we appreciate you reading regardless.
